Chuck Haney

Mr. Haney has been an assistant principal at Hodgson Vo-Tech High School since 1998. Prior to that he served as the school's athletic director, a math teacher, and head boys basketball coach. Mr. Haney was also a math teacher and coach at St. Elizabeth's High School in Wilmington. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Math, and Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Delaware.

Jane Trochimowicz

Assistant Principal

Mrs. Jane Trochimowicz graduated with a B.S. from the University of Bloomsburg and a M.S. from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Business Education.  She has 25 years of classroom teaching experience that provides great insight into the field that allows her to help the instructors. She feels that her greatest

pleasures in life have been her family and a career that is so rewarding.

Paul Rabinovitch

Greetings!  My name is Paul Rabinovitch and I am the new assistant principal at Hodgson.  While I am new to this position in the building, I joined the Hodgson staff in 1995 (after teaching three years at Wilmington High School) and taught science in Room 154 for four and a half years.  From 2000-2002, I worked as an Instructional Specialist for the Instructional Services Division within the NCCVo-Tech School District.  Some of you may recognize my name from my previous job as an assistant principal at George V. Kirk Middle School.  After three wonderful years at Kirk, it is nice to come back “home” to Hodgson and the New Castle County Vo-Tech School District

I’m honored to have the opportunity to work back here at Hodgson as part of Mr. Allen’s administrative team and am excited by many of the wonderful things I have heard that are going on inside of the building.  I believe that if we work together to provide the student with the best possible experience in terms of expectations, instruction, and social support, we will have provided them with the training and knowledge to be successful throughout their entire life.

Here is a little bit about me outside of my role as Assistant Principal.  My educational background is as follows: I have a B.A. in Biological Sciences Education from the University of Delaware, an M.Ed. in Applied Technology in Education from Wilmington College, in addition to an M.Ed. in School Leadership from Wilmington College.  I have a wonderful wife and a 2-year old little girl at home.  When I’m not working or spending time with the family, I like to sneak in a round of golf whenever possible.  If you need to contact me, I can be reached at 834-0990 x215 or emailed at prabinovitch@nccvt.k12.de.us.
